This is the follow up to my Blurring the Line of Reality series. These are shot with a little different technique and focus specifically on feet. I chose to do just feet because I want to exhaust this idea so that I can come out with a solid series. I'll actually be doing this series for my graduation portfolio so let me know if you are in/around Philadelphia and I'll be sure to pass along the time/place of the gallery showing.

Daily DeviationGiven 2008-05-04Blur 0027 by ~strongerthanyou is part of this deviant's graduation portfolio series using underwater techniques to do a study of feet. The effect is gritty, haunting, abstract, and certainly surreal. Disembodied limbs is a classic subject for Surrealists, so I love the interplay between this piece (and the rest of its series) and the art history of this style. (Featured by ^opioid) |
